Who this is for

Students who want to be trusted with real work

This program is built for high school and college students. Shasta County students are our core focus — this is our home, and investing here matters to us — but eligibility isn't limited by where you live. If you're outside the area, you're genuinely welcome to apply; much of the work can be done remotely.

Internships run during the summer and through the academic year. There's no rigid block of weeks to squeeze into — we'll work out timing and hours that fit your school schedule.

You don't need a résumé full of experience. Bring curiosity, follow-through, and a willingness to be taught.

Bezalel Innovations is a faith-first medical device company named after the biblical craftsman Bezalel, who was filled with wisdom, knowledge, and understanding to build. That's the standard we hold ourselves to: skill in the hands, wisdom in the heart.

This internship is an extension of that mission. We build technology that serves people — and we build people who lead.

Whatever track you choose, you're mentored by experienced professionals who are invested in you — not just in the output. Leadership development isn't a bonus session tacked onto the end; it's woven through the way we work together every week.

EngineeringFilled for 2026–2027

Biomedical Engineering Track

You'll work alongside experienced, knowledgeable engineers on real medical device projects — the same work that ships to operating rooms. The projects change often, so instead of a fixed checklist you get genuine exposure to how devices get designed, tested, and refined, with a seasoned engineer walking beside you.

This position is filled for the 2026–2027 school year. Apply anyway if you'd like, and we'll keep you in mind for the next cycle.

Best for students curious about engineering, design, or medicine — no prior experience required.

Digital Marketing Track

You'll work alongside our marketing and creative team on real outreach for the company. What we're building shifts week to week, so you'll learn by doing — shaping how a mission-driven company tells its story, with experienced marketers coaching you through the craft.

Best for students drawn to writing, design, video, or brand storytelling.

Video & Animation Design Track

You'll help our team turn real medical device stories into short videos, animations, and design pieces — product explainers, motion graphics, and social clips that make complex technology click for patients, surgeons, and hospital teams. You'll learn the craft by shipping real work, with guidance from the people who use it.

Best for students who love video, animation, motion graphics, or visual design — self-taught counts.

We're looking for students who make things move

Short explainer videos, animations that show how ACTS works, motion graphics for trade shows, and design pieces for our social channels. If you edit, animate, illustrate, or storyboard — even self-taught on a phone — we'd love to see your work and hand you real projects to grow on.

Koushik Sheshala

Junior in high school · Folsom, CA

Koushik is a junior in high school from Folsom, California, driven by curiosity and a passion for exploring engineering — a field he plans to pursue as his major in college. He loves applying problem-solving skills to real-world challenges and seeing the impact the work creates, which is exactly what he gets to do alongside our engineering team on real medical device projects. Outside of his studies, Koushik is outgoing and loves staying active and connected: you can usually find him on the volleyball court, playing with friends at the park or competing for his school.

Sargun Singh

Senior, Santa Clara University · Santa Clara, CA

Sargun is a senior bioengineering student at Santa Clara University who has spent her undergraduate years chasing one core question: how do we get people the right diagnosis and treatment faster? At Bezalel, she works on the treatment side of that mission, helping build a device that gets used in real surgeries. On the research side, she has applied AI to earlier detection of retinal disease — and she isn't planning to stop at modeling problems; she wants a career where she is still hands-on at the bench. Long-term, Sargun hopes to keep working at the intersection of AI and hands-on bioengineering, building things that actually reach patients. In her free time, she loves to dance, play volleyball, and spend time with friends and family.
