Good News Rescue Mission

Founded in 1964 by a group of concerned Christians, the Good News Rescue Mission has since offered a hand up out of emotional, physical and spiritual poverty to thousands. What started as a 3 bedroom shelter for men has grown into a 389-bed facility offering various services to men, women and children in need. All free of charge. Their heart for Shasta County continues to expand along with their services.

Teen Challenge – Women's and Children's Center

Teen Challenge is a faith-based recovery program that offers hope, healing, and restoration to women and children overcoming addiction and life challenges through Christ-centered support and discipleship. We volunteer on a weekly basis at the Anderson center, where our team encourages residents, ministers to them, and speaks life and truth into their journeys toward freedom and new beginnings. Shasta High School - STEM Mentoring

Shasta High School provides quality education and opportunities for students in Redding, with a strong focus on preparing the next generation through academics and extracurricular programs. Our team mentors STEM students by guiding them through hands-on design challenges, fostering innovation, problem-solving, and real-world application of science, technology, engineering, and math principles.
